“Hillary Majors was our agent for almost a year. We enlisted her to help us find a second home in Boise. As we already had a home to live in, we weren’t particularly rushed/motivated. We had very high standards and unique needs. In other words, we were very picky buyers, which is—of course—very difficult in this market. Early on, she went above and beyond to show us myriad properties across the Treasure Valley so that we could see how location affected pricing and availability. One day in particular, we spent an entire day driving around the valley visiting homes (probably 12-15 different homes). She even had our favorite snacks and drinks waiting for us in the car. As our needs/wants evolved, she was patient and agile. She took us on several more trips around town to view even more homes. She was exceptionally patient with us, as we waffled between older homes on the bench, new builds in Northwest Boise, and condos downtown. At one point we even considered building a new home. Through this all, she was supremely patient, candid, and helpful. Once we were finally under contract, she was attentive to our needs and savvy with our negotiations regarding price, inspections, repairs, etc. She helped us navigate complex and rare title and HOA issues. She accompanied us at closing, and she had somehow even managed to personally clean our new home and left us with beautiful and thoughtful house-warming gifts.
